" I was very skeptical because I've tried a few prescription strength products over the years with no luck in reducing my sweaty pits. Certain Dri Solid gets applied before bedtime and does its work overnight. The directions say it could take up to three days to work its magic, but I noticed a major difference the first day after applying it. When I got home from work, I changed clothes and noticed the armpits of my shirt were barely moist. Now, you must know that we are in the midst of summer and the temperatures have been near 90, so it wasn't a fluke. I applied it each night this week before bed and my shirts have been completely dry in the pits after work!

WIN The Cool Pet Pad Ends 7/21/10
The Cool Pet Pad is a great way to keep your pets comfortable during the summer – and it’s super easy to use.
I’m not sure how they do this, but the pad is weight/pressure activated. So as soon as your pet steps on it, the pad gets cool. It doesn’t need electricity, water or refrigeration. There’s nothing to refill.
It will last for years and years and the only maintenance needed is if it gets dirty, I might need to wipe it clean. That’s it.

The cats had to check it out, since it was new. But they didn’t use the Cool Pet Pad. Then this afternoon when it got hot, where did I find the cats? On the Cool Pet Pad. Week 7 Weigh In Today
I am not so thrilled at the slow loss but I suppose it is better than being 10 lbs heavier. Thus far, I have lost 9.8 lbs. This week, I maintained. I thought I would gain so I was happy but it would have been a 'gift' to see even a slight loss.
Last night, I had a HUGE NSV! I went to a Yankees game and did not have a hot dog, beer or any other snack! I had some chicken before I left and a water on the way and was so proud of myself! GO ME!

Hot Tub Time Machine & Robin Hood - Disappointing
I had 2 free tickets to the movies and wanted to see something close by to my house. There are not many great options mid-year and Hot Tub Time Machine ("HTTM") and Robin Hood are good examples of 'not great options'.
I am glad they were free otherwise I would have been pretty angry to have paid $12.50.
Of the two, HTTM was much better as it had some good laughs. My dad called it 'raunchy' (don't know why he would want to see that movie) but I would say it was just plain juvenile. I miss the days of John Cusack in Say Anything.
As for Robin Hood, I actually snoozed through part of the movie. It was 2 1/2 hours. It could have been 1 3/4 hour and about 3 less fight and horse riding scenes. I will admit that I did like Russell Crowe in it but other than that, it wasn't anything special.
